International Junior Team Games 2012 Results

The results are out and 17th Brisbane is the winner (for the world)!

BB UK has sent out the results for the International Junior Team Games for 2012 and Australia took out 1st and 2nd place (1st Clarence - Tasmania). Congratulations to 17th Brisbane Juniors and all BBA Companies who entered this year.

BBA 2013 Calendar - Pix it to the Max Competition

BBA is creating a calendar for sale next year to give companies another fund raising opportunity. Every State will get the chance to have a minimum of two pictures in the calendar. With the best photo on the front Cover. Start snapping now!

Sir William Smith award

The award previously known as ‘Private First Class’ has been changed to the ‘Sir William A Smith award’. 

This change recognises that the achievement is a significant award of recognition for a member on a progressive path towards the highest award; The Queen’s Badge.

A Message from the PAC 17 Director

On 6 July 2009 it will be only 18 months until PAC 17, the BB Tasmanian
Adventure starts in Melbourne and we set sail across Bass Strait for a balmy
overnight crossing before tying up at Devonport next morning, disembarking,
then take the short drive to Camp Clayton at Ulverstone where a top Tassie

New Executive Officer Appointed

It is with great pleasure that I announce the long awaited appointment of the New Executive Officer for The Boys' Brigade Australia.

From humble beginnings on the 4th October 1883 at the Free College Church Mission, Glasgow to organisation with in excess of 750,000 young people the world over.

    2008 Membership Cards and 125th Anniversary Posters

    16th Pan Australian Camp "The Best Ever...."

    Checks to protect kids

    In Victoria 90,000 workers are being told to apply for criminal background checks.

    Workers and volunteers involved with school camps, school crossings, juvenile justice centres and foster care services must apply for a Working with Children Check card by June 30 next year.
    If they pass the check, they will get special photo ID cards.

    New BB Image & Web Site

    After a lot of work the new BB web site is now online as you can see.

    At the National BB conference in June 2006 it was agreed that BB could have one web site for all national and state areas. The links to the state sites eg boys.brigadeaustralia.org/nsw will bring you to this site and display information about BB in NSW.
