Boys' Brigade Companies in South Australia operate during normal school terms and our Anchors (5*-7yrs), Juniors (8-11yrs) & Seniors (12-18yrs) often have different finishing times.  *Some companies will accept boys when they turn 5 while others wait until the start of the year in which a boy turns 6. Please check individual company pages for exact  session times.

A word from our President

Warmest greetings to all who have taken the time to visit our ever changing website. I'm really excited about what Boys' Brigade can offer boys and young men as they grow to become valued members of our society. It's still hard to believe I'd ever get the honour to serve our current boys as State President when I first joined BB as a 6 year old. Still,  here I am sending you an enthusiastic welcome on behalf of all the current boys and leaders.
God Bless,    Kevin Markham

Following a grafitti attack on the state war memorial on Anzac Eve 1999 the RSL invited youth organisations in South Australia to "Hold Ground" on the North Terrace site for the twelve hours preceeding the 6am Anzac Day dawn service. 2012 represents the sixth year BB has joined The Girls' Brigade, The SA Blue Light Rangers, Australian Army Cadets, Girl Guides SA, The Legion Of Frontiersmen, St John Ambulance Cadets, Surf Life Saving SA, Scouts Australia, Australian Air Force Cadets, CFS & SES Cadets and The Australian Navy Cadets in honouring those who sacrificed so much by serving their country in times of conflict.

The 2010 Anchors & Juniors Big Adventure was held along the River Torrens Linear Park in the heart of Adelaide. Boys, parents and leaders had a great time walking along the trail which often followed the O-Bahn Busway from Walkerville to Felixstowe. Highlights included crossing a number of foot bridges and several adventure playgrounds and of course a barbecue lunch.

A very special thanks to the family of the late Mr Alan Tuckwell (member of both BB Whyalla and The Whyalla Model Railway Society) for their most generous gift
